WATKINS, Jr., Fred Fountain August 29, 1926 -July 20, 2014, age 87. Fred was born in Corbin, Kentucky and lived in Stanton Kentucky at the time of his death. He formerly lived in Middletown, Ohio and London, Ky. Fred served proudly in World War II, 11th Airborne Division and worshiped at the Stanton Church of Christ. Fred was a dedicated Christian friend, father and family member. His four children was by his side at his death. Funeral Service will be held at the Davis & Davis Funeral Home located at 777 W. College Ave. in Stanton Ky. This Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at the "Stonegate Cemetery" located next door to Davis and Davis Funeral Home. "Remember When" luncheon Following burial at Davis and Davis Funeral Home. Fred Watkins was preceded in Death by: Parents: Fred Fountain Watkins Sr. and Nannie Boyd (Brown) Watkins, Brother William Watkins, Sisters: Edna McClurkin, Zella Keene, Ann Gross and Grandchild: Johnny Wesley Watkins. Fred Watkins is Loving father leaving behind: Deborah Little and husband Lloyd, James Watkins, John Watkins and wife Robin, Susan Stepanchuk and husband Edward. Fred leaves behind one special sister, Betty Nein, seven special grandchildren: Rob Little, Lee Little, Wes Watkins, Brad Watkins, Jamie Watkins, Casey Watkins and Shelby Martin, eight special great grandchildren: Bailey Little, Madalyn Watkins, Jayden Watkins, Kaydence Watkins, Lydia Watkins, Khloe Little, Baine Little and Kashlyn Little and many special cousins, nephews and nieces.
