Mrs. Grace B. Adkins, 55, of Bethesda, Route 1, died Wednesday morning, November 20, 1974, at seven o'clock in Barnesville Hospital, following an illness.
She was born in Beallsville, January 24, 1919, the daughter of the late Peter and Franie Burkhart.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Adkins; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Saffell, of Hendrysburg; Mrs. Elaine Devine, of Quaker City, and Miss Janet Adkins, of the home; a son, Charles, who is declared missing in action in Vietnam since 1968; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Earl Haught, of Jacobsburg and two brothers, Herman Burkhart and Clyde Burkhart, of Rittman.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o'clock, in the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home, at Bethesda, with Rev. Bob Merritt officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda.
