Clarence Davis Rites Tomorrow

Clarence B. Davis, 52, of St. Paul, Great Northern baggage man, died 12:20 Sunday morning, May 26, on No. 2 between Chinook and Harlem, from a heart attack. Davis, who has a run between Havre and St. Paul, was ill in Havre Sunday night, fainting a couple times in the depot, but insisted on taking his run. However, an extra baggage man was sent along.

He passed away after the train had left Chinook, and was taken from the train at Malta, the body being brought to Havre Sunday morning. His wife arrived Monday from St. Paul.

Funeral services are to be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Thaddeus church, and rosary will be said tonight at 8 o'clock at the Holland and Bonine funeral home.

Mr. Davis had been running from Havre to St. Paul for some time, his family living at the latter point. Mrs. Davis and a son and three daughters survive.
