Michael Erin Mattingly, age 44, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 23, 2014) in Bowling Green, KY.

He was born on March 23, 1970 in Leitchfield, the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Vittitow Mattingly.

He graduated in 1988 from Grayson County High School, and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield.

He is survived by his brother, Kevin Mattingly of Cub Run, KY; four sisters, Michelle Davis of Leitchfield, KY., Charlene Stahl (Greg) of Augusta GA., Brenda Allen (Sonny) of Panama City FL., and Marty Lyons (Bruce) of Augusta GA.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (July 25, 2014) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Rev. Tony Bickett will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until time of services at the church.
