David W. Craven, 53, a former Rush County resident passed away in Kearney, MO on July 22, 2014.
Dave was born in Rushville on February 17, 1961 to Curtis and Barbara (McCoy) Craven.
Dave lived in Rush County most of his life and has lived in Kearney, MO since 1999. He was a 1979 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School.
Dave married Linda Mount on December 15, 1984 and she survives.
Dave worked for James H. Drew Co. in Indianapolis for 20 years and was currently working at Mar-Jin in Kearney, MO. He was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville and was a member of the IBEW Local#53.
In addition to his wife Linda of Kearney, MO, Dave leaves behind his mother Barbara Craven of Rushville, 2 sons, Kyle Craven and wife Lindsey of Excelsior Springs, MO and Curtis Craven of Kearney, MO, daughter Maria and husband Craig Beasley of Excelsior Springs, MO, 4 brothers Richard Craven and wife Lynne of Rushville, William Craven and wife Teresa of Greenfield, James Craven of Indiana, and Steve Craven and wife Jennifer of Michigan, sister, Susan and husband Robert Walker of Greenfield and 3 grandchildren, Emilie, Gracie and Norah.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Craven.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rushville.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 at Moster Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Rushville.
