Hazel Ruby (Hall) Hartz
Hazel was born on February 27, 1927, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Olga and Arizona (Boling) Hall, one of five children (all deceased). Hazel departed this life on October 17, 2016.
She was also predeceased by her two daughters - Cynthia Brown and Vickie Williams and the love of her life Herb Hartz (Former Tulsa Deputy Police Chief) who left her his large family who loved her dearly.
Hazel had five siblings who predeceased her: Harold W Hall, Addie Fern Hall and Wanda Louise Hall. Also half-siblings from her mother’s previous marriage: Elmer Frank Beaver and Frankie Madeleine 'Madge' (Beaver) Johnson.
She is survived by grandson Aaron and Jamie, their children, nieces and nephews.
Hazel's professional career began as an entry level employee in the Tulsa Central Post Office and she advanced through several supervisory and managerial positions to Postmaster in Bixby, OK, a class A post office. She was one of the first females to achieve a prominent Postmaster position.
