◦GUENTHER, Mrs. Hilda - Suddenly, on Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital, in Kitchener, Hilda Salome Guenther, of Wellesley. Hilda was born in Wilmot township, 80 years ago. Daughter of the late Edwin Doering and the late Edna Wettlaufer: Mrs. Guenther was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Philipsburg, where she was active in the ELW and the sewing committee. She was excellent at quilting and crocheting. Hilda was also active with the bowling league and the Wellesley Horticultural Society. Beloved mother of Marion and her husband John Cook of Baden, Linda and her husband Robert Kraehling of RR 1, St. Agatha, Roy and his wife Lorraine Guenther of RR 1, Wellesley and Neil and his wife Joanne Guenther of Wellesley. Dear sister of Roy and his wife Blanche Doering of New Hamburg and Irene Neeb and the late Walter Neeb of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Carl and Carol Cook, Beth and Randy Martin, Janet and Amy Kraehling, Jason and Rachael Kraehling, Laura and John Boronka, Gregory and Krista Guenther, Joshua and Jennifer Guenther and Allison and Lisa Guenther. Great-grandma of Chelsea; Chantal, Sheldon, Taylor and Colin. Predeceased by her husband, Lloyd John Guenther, December 21, 1996 and by a granddaughter, Joan Cook. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2.4 and 7-9 p7m. At noon Friday Jan7, 2000 re moval will be made to Zion Lutheran Church for the Funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor Eric Schultz will officiate; Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
