Born Feb. 8, 1924, in Acme, Westmoreland County, daughter of Irvin and Anna (Lankey) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Herbert H. Shaffer, in 1974; second husband, Ralph Eastlake, in 1996; granddaughter, Betsy Eppley; infant grandson, Joshua Eppley; four sisters; and six brothers. Survived by children, Cathie Ann, married to David Eppley; Herbert Larry "Butch," married to Linda Eppley; and Connie Lee, married to Thomas Hutchinson, all of Conemaugh Township; and Debbie L., married to Russell Jackson, Ligonier; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, where she formerly taught Sunday school and Bible school. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Pastor Gary W.
