Sara J. "Skeets" Graham, 79, Tyrone died Tuesday afternoon at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona daughter of the late Slinker and Bertha (Keith) Lafferty.
She married Samuel C. Graham, II on Sept. 24, 1949 in Altoona and he preceded
her in death on Sept. 11, 1980.
Surviving are a son, Sam (Pat) of Tyrone; a daughter, Cathy (David) Skelley of Altoona;
ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; a special niece and nephew, Chet and Bev Lafferty and their daughters; a special sister friend, Dottie Babiak of Duncansville; and special friends, the Charles Sheetz family.
She was preceded by a daughter, Becky Sheetz; 3 sisters, Edna Moran, Mary Behel and Dot Wilt; and 3 brothers, David, Chet and James Lafferty.
Sara retired in September 1996 as an assembler at Veeder Root, Duncansville. She enjoyed baking and cooking.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11am funeral service on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood, with Pastor Jack Wiley officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
