Great Grandma Laura Baker was 14 years old when she married my Great Grandpa William Alford Haze Baker. She was 20 years younger than he was but they were married for 51 beautiful years and he was a wonderful man.
I remember when I was little he had a small dog and every time we went to see them I had to bring his dog Juicy Fruit chewing gum and that little dog would sit and chew that gum for 30 min or more before he finally spit it out.
I wish I would have had more time to spend with them and I only have one photo of my Great Grandfather and Grandmother but they have always been in my mind and my heart and so has that little dog.
