George Randall Brown, 53 years of age of Raven, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 2, 1961 in Tazewell, VA, he was the son of Pricey Arminda (Minnie) Brown of Keen Mountain, VA and the late Rhuey Richard (Brownie) Brown.
George was an avid carpenter, a loving son, brother and uncle and of the Holiness faith.
Survivors including his mother Pricey Arminda (Minnie) Brown of Keen Mountain, VA, include his sisters Charlotte Mullins, Nancy Keen, Joyce Brown all of the Keen Road section of Raven, VA, Linda Horne and husband Nelson of Oakwood, VA, Kathy Smith and husband Stanley of Roanoke, VA, Rebecca Blankenship and husband Tony of Greenville, TN.
He is also survived by nine nephews and four nieces.
Funeral services for George Randall Brown will be conducted at the Antioch Church of Keen Mountain, VA, Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Keen Mountain, VA.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at the Antioch Church, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 after 6:00 p.m.
