Amanda's obituary can be found in the "Wyanet Record" of Thursday, Dec. 16, 1926, page 1, column 4. All of the information included here is taken from the obituary. She was married to Leroy Jenkins on January 16, 1870. The couple had four children. Two of them died before Amanda: Mrs. Lavina Enyart and Mrs. Mabel Young. The two who survived her were Mrs. Will stone of Moline, IL, and Harry Jenkins of Rock Island, IL. The obituary also mentions three surviving sisters: Mrs. L.A. Whaley of Princeton, IL (now buried in this cemetery), Mrs. W.F. Schlieman of Gainsville, GA, and Mrs. Mollie Spaulding of Indianapolis, IN. Also mentioned are two surviving brothers: Elmer E. Johnson of Aurora, Il, and Francis T. Johnson of Chicago, IL. (now buried in this same family plot).

Amanda does not have a marker on her grave, so I am including a photo of the family plot.
