Cindy Adams, age 52, of Lockney, passed away, Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney with Jonathan Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at the Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Arrangements are under the care of Moore Rose Funeral Home of Lockney. Cindy was born in Lockney, Texas, February 9, 1962 to Johnny Ray and Patsy M. Adams, she lived in Lockney her whole life. She graduated from Lockney High School in 1981 and graduated from SPC receiving her LVN license in 1988 and also held a certificate in dietary management. Cindy was known for her nursing skills at Mangold Memorial Hospital where she was employed for 24 years and served on the staffing committee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Cindy always took very good care of her family who she loved very much.
Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul McIntosh in April 2012, her father, Johnny Ray Adams in February 1982.
She is survived by daughter Misty Adams, granddaughter, Joey Nicole Cantu, son in law Davie Villa, all of Lockney, daughter Windy Webb, son in law Randy Webb, soon to be granddaughter Raylee Mae Webb, all of Lubbock; her mother; Pat Adams, brother Johnny Wayne Adams, both of Tahoka, sisters; Tammy Adams and Tracy Adams both of Lockney, and nephew Stevie Karlin of Lockney.
