Jesse Metz, 83-yeart old retired farmer and native of Adams County, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bertha Olinger, York, Saturday of complication of diseases. He was a former resident of Hamiltonban Township before taking up his residence in York. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Olinger, Mrs. Fannie Eyler, Blue Ridge Summit, and Mrs. Alma Covern, Springsbury.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Allison funeral parlors at Fairfield, with interment in the Chamberlain Cemetery near Orrtanna.
