MANKATO – Mankato resident Sharron K. Thompson, 59, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1996, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Mankato Mortuary, the Rev. Norman Heidorn officiating. Burial is in Pilgrim's Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour before services Saturday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Mrs. Thompson was born Oct. 13, 1936, to Ira P. and Mildred (Baker) Hudson in Mason City, Iowa. She married Walter L. Thompson on Nov, 23, 1955, in Mankato. A homemaker, she liked to travel and collect Native American art.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband; three sons, Steven and his wife, Denise, John L. and Joseph and his wife, Amy, all of Mankato; two daughters, Debra L. Reed of Mankato and Lisa Stewart of Champlin; 15 grand children; and her mother, of Mankato. She was preceded in death by her father.
