Amber was born a daughter of David Lee Knight and Gloria Loraine Lane Knight and was a graduate of Northeastern High School, Class of 2001, a member of Avalon Church of Christ in Virginia Beach and a student at College of The Albemarle. Besides her parents, Amber is survived by her sister, Christina Knight Cartwright and husband, "Pee Wee" Kevin Cartwright; her brother, David Keith Knight and wife, Katie Johnson Knight: her paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Janie R. Reynolds and Lloyd Reynolds; her nieces and nephew, Holly, Jessica, Allison and Kevin Lee Cartwright. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Billy Joe Knight; and her maternal grandparents, James Alfred Lane and Alice Mae Rogerson Lane. Amber died at her residence at age 22.
