IRWIN, TYLER MATTHEW - age 21, of Halls, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was a 2012 graduate of Halls High School, and was employed by Party City and Applebee's.

He was preceded in death by his father, Barney Irwin; and grandmother, Brenda Irwin.

Survivors: mother and step-father, Katherine and Scott Whitehead; brother, Brandon Irwin; sister, Laura Whitehead, all of Halls; grandparents, Tracy and Nancy Gunter, and Barney Irwin, Sr., all of Knoxville; uncle, David Gunter and wife Chassidy of Corryton; several cousins and many friends. Tyler was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

The family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service and interment with Reverend Rick Passmore officiating. Honorary pallbearers: Gabriel Hanas and Bret Leffew. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
