Bennett Suzanne "Susie" Bennett, age 75, of Bladensburg, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was born on September 7, 1937 in Columbus to the late Hugh and Adrienne (Park) McTeague. Susie was a member of the Bladensburg Church of Christ, where she was a former organist and pianist. She was also a Sunday school teacher and volunteered in the Missions of the church. Susie enjoyed her gardening and was a member of the Wakatomika Garden Club. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Kim) Horne of Blacklick; and a daughter, Kelly (James E.) Shirey of Howard; a granddaughter, Jennifer Scarborough. Along with two great-grandchildren, Tristen and Braylee and several nieces and nephews. Susie was preceded in death by her husband Ben L. Bennett. Friends may call on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Bladensburg Church of Christ, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ben McKinstry and Rev.
