Dale was a true pioneer of Wyoming and loved this state with every ounce of his being. Dale came to Lander in the early 1940's. He was married to his first wife Mary. They lived in Lander until she passed in 1985. Dale continued to live in Lander and retired as a residential and commercial building contractor. Dale enjoyed many outdoor activities which included flying, ATVing, snow mobiling and fishing. In 1992 Dale married Nancy Weitzel of Lander. Nancy was the love of his life and she was by his side when he passed.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; her children, Roxanne and her son Eric of Pennsylvania and Brad (Sonya) and children Shaun and Michelle of Missouri; nieces, Marva Box and her son Michael and Dixie Schafer and her son Jeff and daughter Lorie; beloved pets, Blackie, Callie and Dolly.
