NORMAN LOUIS KOEPPER was born in Indianapolis on April 4, 1908, the youngest of three sons born to Henry C. Koepper and Josephine, nee Klein. As an infant, he was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He also attended St. Paul Lutheran School where he was graduated in 1922, and received into communicant membership with St. Paul by the Rite of Confirmation the same year. His secondary education was at Emmerich Manual Training High School, and then was graduated from Benjamin Harrison/Indiana University School of Law, with a Bachelor of Laws degree.

He was employed by J.S. Cruse Realty Company where he was in charge of property management, and was associated with this company for forty-five years until his retirement in 1974 as president and owner of the company.

On August 3, 1935, he was united in Holy Wedlock with Miss Lora Meyer, the marriage taking place in the home of her parents. This union was blessed with three children, Susan Jo (Mrs. Eddie W. Foster), Paul N. Koepper, and Stephen L. Koepper.

Though actively supporting Trinity, where their children attended Trinity Lutheran School, Lora and Norman retained their membership in their home congregation, St. Paul, until Norman's retirement in 1974. At that time they transferred their membership to Trinity. For many ears Norman was a member of the Adult Advisory Committee of the Trinity Boy Scout Troop 41, serving as its chairman during part of this time. He was also active in the Trinity Parent-Teacher League, serving as its treasurer at one time.

Norman was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, spending forty-six years of his life in the same home on the east side of town. On August 3, he and Lora were privileged to celebrate their fifty-first wedding anniversary. After a prolonged illness, which took its toll particularly during the last six months, he quietly slipped away into Life Eternal, at home, on Sunday evening, November 2nd.

In addition to his wife and three children and their spouses, Eddie W. Foster (Susan J.), Mrs. Sharon L. (Paul N.) Koepper, and Mrs. Beverly A. (Stephen L.) Koepper, he is survived by eight grandchildren: Kerry Lee Foster, Mrs. Kristin Lenore (Mrs. James T.) Anthony; Paula Lynn, Christopher Paul, Josie Ann, and David Nathaniel Koepper; and Joshua Michael and Jonathan David Koepper.
