Obituary for Cynthia Powell

Cynthia died July 19, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 25, 1961 in San Angelo, Texas to Clifford and L.G. (Edmiston) Schooley.

Cynthia moved to Sudan from San Angelo in 1999. She graduated from Schleicher County ISD, then went on to graduate from Angelo State University with her RN, BSN. She was a nurse for 20 years. Her favorite places to work were the ER, MICU, CCU and SICU. Cynthia loved the outdoors, including hunting. She enjoyed her family, especially taking care of her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Cliff and her parents.

Survivors include a sister Lorretta Ray and her husband, Lee of Sudan, Texas; four nieces and nephews, Lee Ray, Lauren Wilson, Ericka Halfmann and Gabe Schooley; and nine great nieces and nephews.
