Dora, daughter of Daniel Watts and wife was born at Whitestown, Indiana, Aug. 4 1869, from which place she moved with her parents in 1884, [The Daniel Watts family is in Nebraska in 1880 census, Richardson County] when she was fifteen years old, to Davenport, Nebraska, where she lived until she was married to Fillmore Lichty of Waterloo, Iowa, on Dec. 25, 1887.
Mrs. Lichty died at her home in South Omaha, Nebr., where she had lived for the past 21 years. She died Feb. 6, 1922 at the age of 52 years, 6 months and 2 days.
Mrs. Lichty united with the Christian Church at Hebron several years ago, and tho she moved her membership from there, she continued a member of the church until she died.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Belle Heckman and one son, Floyd Lichty all of Omaha, Nebr., also four brothers, Charles Watts of Pomona, Kans., Sample Watts of Falls City, Nebr., W. H. Watts of Hebron, Nebr., and Squire Watts of Davenport, Nebr., besides many other relatives and friends.
The body was brought to Davenport for burial, and the funeral held Friday, Feb. 10, at the Church of Christ, conducted by B. Frank Lowery, and the body laid to rest in the family lot in the Davenport Cemetery.
