Joan M. Burleson, age 83, of Grove City, died Sun. Nov. 1, 1998 in Monterey Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and was preceded in death by husband Thomas B. in 1990. She is survived by daughters Rose H. Swank, Barbara J. Spaniol, and Mary (Tom) Bailey; sons, Steven (Elfrieda) Farkas and Thomas (Beth) Burleson; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 1 great, great granddaughter; brother Walter Kalinowski; and sisters Frances Green, Virginia Edler, and Helen Schleich. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3710 Broadway, Grove City with Fr. Romano Ciotola officiating. Friends may call Tues. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Rosary service 8:30 PM Tues. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Bldg. Fund at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or Mt. Carmel Hospice.
