Randel Wayne Lachmiller, 36, of Napa, CA, and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m., at Inspiration Chapel in Napa, CA.
The family will greet friends Sunday, Aug. 28, from 2-4 p.m. in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Graveside services and interment, under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home, will be held Monday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m., at Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Lachmiller was born in Mankato, MN, on May 20, 1969. He was a 1988 graduate of Fredericksburg High School and had lived in California for several years where he was employed by Sax and Roscoe Construction Company.
Survivors include his father, Gary Lachmiller and his wife, Rosene, of Fredericksburg; his mother, Connie Hirschmugl and her husband, Jim, of Navato, CA, and his grandfather, Max Bayless of Wyoming.
He is also survived by five brothers, including Rick Lachmiller, Jonathon Lachmiller, Doug Ramsey, Luke Hirschmugl and Jon Hirschmugl; and six sisters, including Polly Priess, Jodie Kneese, Tammy Gravitt, Melanie Hirschmugl, Jaimie Lachmiller and Jody Lachmiller.
