Jimmy T. Hart, 82, of Millstadt, Ill., born Sunday, June 7, 1931, in Sweet Home, Ark., died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Mr. Hart worked as a sales representative for the Lincoln Electric Company. He was an Air Force veteran that served in the Korean War. Jimmy was a member of Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia, Ill., for 42 years, a member of First Christian Church in Belleville, Ill., since 2008, and a member of the American Welding Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Lee and Zona, nee White, Hart; sister, Frances Hart Montgomery; a son, Kim Edwin Hart, and a brother-in-law, Doyle Montgomery.

Surviving are his wife, Beverlye, nee Warren, Hart of Millstadt, Ill.; sons, Gary (Sherry) Hart of Millstadt, Ill., and Brian (Lynda) Hart of Richmond Hill, Ga.; sister-in-law, Becky (John) Bitely; and grandchildren, Morgan Hart, Brooklyn Hart and Austin Hart.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Hargrave officiating.
