ONEIDA >> Henrietta C. Blowers, 90, formerly of Canastota, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, in the Extended Care Facility of Oneida Healthcare where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Born in Vienna, on June 4, 1924, she was the daughter of George and Lela Weatherly Condgen. Henrietta was educated in Vienna schools and was a lifelong resident of the Oneida area.
Prior to her retirement, Henrietta was employed by the former Oneida City Hospital as an activities assistant. She was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Audrey Stuart and her companion, Dave Shea, of Oneida; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, Penny Lane; and several nieces and nephews. Henrietta was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Blowers and two daughters, Juanita Seifert and Beverly Luna.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Brian Fellows, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Contributions, in her memory, may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 7, 6725 Lyons St., E.
