Connie LaRoy Harper went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 19 July 2014 at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa. He was born on 4 March 1935, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He moved his family to Mounds, Oklahoma in 1962. He lived there with his wife, Thelma Frazier Harper on what folks call Harper Hill.

He is survived by his wife; two sons and wife; daughter and husband; grandchildren and spouses; great-grandchildren; sister; brother; and many nieces and nephews and his Cross Pointe Church Family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eldorene A. Lightfoot Harper; father, Luther A. Harper; sister, Verla C. Evans; brothers, Marland N. Harper and Luther "Larry" Harper.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-1718. Family visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 6-8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main St.,Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be held at South Heights Cemetery on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:00 am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
