Chester C Baker, 80, died Sunday. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Rogers Baker. Mr Baker was the owner of Carolina Finace Co., of Tarboro for 36 years. He also served in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving family, a son and daughter in law, a daughter and son in law, four grandsons, and two sisters. He was the son of Lillie Webb and Louie Baker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vidant Home Health & Hospice, 1005 W.H. Smith BLvd., Greenville, NC 27834. A graveside service was held Wednesday at 9:30 AM in Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev Caswell Shaw Officiating. The family recieved friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Tuseday from 7 to 8:30 PM.
