Colleen A. Mimi (Nash) Allen, 62, of Easton, formerly of Plymouth, died Saturday morning July 19, 2014 at home, under the care of her family. She was the wife of Stephen E. Allen for 42 years. Born in Chelsea on Oct. 3, 1951, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Banks) Nash, she was raised in South Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth High School. Colleen was employed as the Chief Financial Officer for CRC Marine Construction of Quincy. She lived in Plymouth for several years prior to moving to Easton 14 years ago. An active member and communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton, she served as a eucharistic minister and was the wedding coordinator at the church. A devoted wife, loving mother and caring grandmother, Colleen was actively involved with her daughter and grandchildren and cherished the time spent together. She enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren and swimming in her pool. In addition to her husband Stephen, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay Franzoni and her husband Mark of Easton; her grandchildren, Jackson A. Franzoni, Bailey R. Franzoni and Logan P. Franzoni all of Easton; her siblings, Kathleen Nolan of Foxboro, Maureen Nash-Cole of Reading, Charles Nash Jr. of Abington, Cynthia Chatterjee of Mansfield and the late Dianne Nash. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138), Easton, on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery donations in Colleens memory may be sent to the Holy Cross Church Building Fund, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, MA. 02375.
