Obituary of Sarah Marie Finch
Graveside services for Sarah Marie Finch, 93, of Oxford will be 1 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Oxford Memorial Gardens with Scott Blake officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 - 12:30 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Finch passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at RMC.
Sarah Marie Finch was born on April 14, 1928. She was born and raised in Ashville, Alabama and moved to Anniston where she met her husband, Bennett Hall Finch. They were married on September 1, 1956 and were married for 41 years. She lived the rest of her life in Oxford with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Finch is preceded in death by her husband, Bennett Hall Finch, her parents, Bill and Lila Bragg, her sisters, Juanita Burtram and Barbara Fuller, her sister in laws; Bonnie Bragg, Jeanette Finch, brother in laws; Nolan Finch and Junior Bearden, and Sybil Ingram and Nellie Finch.
She is survived by a sister, Jimmie Bearden (Junior), a brother, Robert Bragg (Bonnie), three children, Rickey Finch (Sherri), Michael Finch (JoAnne), Ellen Cody (Kevin); five grandchildren, Scott Finch (Jennifer), Beth Hurt (Kevin), Logan Cody, Zachary Finch and Savanna Finch, five great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Darty, Keira Finch, Kinsley Finch, Hayleigh Roberts (Terry), Kevin Hurt and numerous nieced and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Greene and Donnie Humphries.
Mrs. Finch is a member of the Church of Christ and loved the Lord and her family.
