Anijo "Jo" Barrett - RICHMOND HILL - Anijo "Jo" Barrett, 81, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born on May 24, 1929 in Lyons, GA to the late Carlos Vivian and Julia Underwood Alexander. A resident of Richmond Hill for the past ten years, Mrs. Barrett was a beautician and operated her own shop for many years. She enjoyed traveling and was an expert in the game of BluRay. She also enjoyed fishing and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill. In addition to her parents, her husband, William Randolph Barrett and her brother, Lt. Col Russell Alexander preceded her in death. Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and C.D. Smith and Julia and Raymond Gravley all of Richmond Hill; four grandchildren and their spouses, Russell and Nina Smith, Buck Smith and Jade Murphy, Heather Gravley, and Wendi and Ron Latour; one sister and brother- in-law, Nelijack and Hammond Payne; three brothers and sisters-in-law, C.V., Jr. and Linda Alexander, Dickie and Dot Alexander and Truman and Jean Alexander; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Reverend Billy Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
