KATHERINE L. DOYLE, 81, of 103 Poplar Drive, Garden City, executive secretary for the Narragansett Electric Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1980, died Thursday in the Jane Brown Unit of Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Collins) Doyle, she had lived in Garden City for the last 29 years.

She was a communicant of St. Mark Church, a member of the Narragansett Electric Retirees Association and a member of numerous book clubs.

She leaves two nephews, Vincent L. Doyle of Warwick and Tomm M. Doyle of New York City; and a niece, Ann M. Doyle of Quincy, Mass. She was a sister of the late Philip, Thomas, Joseph, Vincent, Veronica and Marion A. Doyle.

The funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Mark Church, Garden City. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
