She was married about 1882 to Lewis Dickson Watson (1852-1928), the son of Overton Downing Watson (1819–1864) and his wife Anna (Dickson) Watson (1819–1905).
A resident of 1512 Gale Lane, Nashville, Minnie was 85 years old and a widow when she died of a cerebral embolism on April 3, 1943 at home. Burial was three days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
