*Mrs. Frank Jackson, aged 58 years, died at her home five miles east of Dundee on the North Custer Road at 4 a.m. today. Death was caused by complications. Mrs. Jackson was born on May 1, 1879, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Henry in Exeter Township. On April 26, 1896, she married Frank Jackson. The past 27 years were spent by them at the home on the North Custer road. She was survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. W.P. Hallowell of Flint, Mrs. Elmer Winkleman of Luna Pier, Mrs. Alfred Schwartz of Monroe and Miss Ruth Jackson at home; three sons, Russell of Dundee Township, Horace at home and Guy at home; one sister, Mrs. Milford Gregg of Tecumseh; two brothers, Will Henry of Tecumseh and John Henry of Minnesota; and 12 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Ryper funeral home in Dundee this morning. It will be taken home this afternoon. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. (Unknown source)

**On April 16, 1896 with her mother's consent, Julia who was 17 years old at the time, married Frank Jackson, who was 21 years of age. Julia was a resident of Exeter Township, and Frank, who was a clerk, was a resident of Raisinville Township, both located at Monroe County, Mi. Their marriage took place at Dundee, Mi. which is just a little way west of their homes, by Clergyman Joseph Frazer. Witness for the ceremony were Alford Wilkerson and Gertrude Haynes, both of Dundee, Monroe County, Mi. (GSMC Marriage Book 4, pg 311)
