Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Lowe; his grandchildren, Baby Tate and Baby Parham; his parents; his 3 brothers, Herman Lowe, Alvin Lowe, and Morris Lowe; and his sister, Bessie Will Lowe.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice Tate (Billy) of Gordo, AL. Fran Blizzard (Melvin) of Tuscaloosa, AL., Julia Parham (Ricky) and Libby Lowe all of Gordo, AL; his brother, Harry Lowe; seven grandchildren, Jason Bearden (Amanda), Allen Tate (Sammy), Kyle Parham (Angela), Susan Lewis (Jonah), Warren Lowe (Marcie), Miranda Hudson (Roman) and Joe Bearden; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; good friend, Leon Fair; and special friend, Vaudine Beard.
Lewis White Lowe was born January 26, 1929 in Pickens Country, Alabama to the late Earnest Lowe and Carrie White Lowe. He was a retired supervisor for Westinghouse, a member of Hargrove United Methodist Church in Gordo, AL and a U.S. Navy veteran. Lewis was a well known resident of Pickens County and will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Honorary Pallbearers are, former Westinghouse Employees, member of Hargrove United Methodist Church, and L & L Auction friends.
