Edna Goffe Parks, 93, died on June 28, 2014 at The Cascades in Greenville, SC. Born in Tampa, Florida to Terrance Spenser Goffe and Bessie Atwater Goffe, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida when she was eight years old after her father's death.

She was predeceased by her only sister, Rowena Goffe Spear. Edna married Wallace Welch in 1942. A daughter, Andrea Gayle Parks now of Greenville, SC, was born in 1944. A month later Wally was killed in Italy during WWII. In 1946 Edna Married Henry Edward Parks. Having met her in grade school, she was the love of his life. Two other daughters came along, Anne Parks Kennerly (husband Thom) of Greenville, and Rebecca Parks Tull (husband Wayne) of Raleigh, NC.

Edna was an avid golfer for 45 years. She loved traveling, bridge, working in her church, and family.

Her six grandchildren are Kasel Kennerly Knight (husband Adam), Jamison Stiles Tull, Karis Kennerly Walker, Meagan Tull Moore (husband John), Christian Parks Kennerly (wife Christie), and Hunter Wayne Tull (wife Jenn). She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Banks Copeland Tull, Isla Eve Knight, August Byron Knight, Davis Hunter Tull, and Richard Parks Moore.

There will be a family memorial service at Christ Church Markley Chapel on Saturday, July 12 at 11 AM. A graveside memorial service will follow in Jacksonville, Florida at Oaklawn Cemetery on July 26 at 10 AM. Memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 4171 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
