Anita Jane Rodgers, 57 of Galena, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 8, 1956 in Columbus to Wilma (Doelker) Manderschied and the late Thomas Manderschied.
She was a 1974 graduate of North High School and attended Sunbury Christian Church. She loved family gatherings and approached everything in life whole-heartedly. She was the best Mom and Nana and the love of Jim's life. She enjoyed the beach, lighthouses, anything nautical, motorcycles and travel.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by siblings Thomas Manderschied and Terri Williams.
She is survived by Jim her loving husband of 33 years, children Tiffany (Joe) Rodgers-Smith, Branden (Casey), Shawn (Amanda), grandchildren Madison, Nolan, McKenna and Raylan and sister Cheryl Marcum.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11 AM at Union Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL is assisting the family with arrangements.
