Passed away on Friday, July, 18, 2014 in St. Charles, MO. Phillip John Faulkner was born in Woodruff, WI to Arthur Faulkner & Marie Faulkner on September 13, 1938. He went to high school in Woodruff, WI. He married Mary Sue Shuler, the love of his life, on November 3, 1962 at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Gallatin, MO. He served in the United States Navy as Master Chief Torpedoman's Mate for 22 years, from October 17, 1957 – May 1, 1979. For the next 20 years, he continued his career as a Logistics Engineer for The Boeing Company. Pete was a wonderful husband and a fantastic father. He had a high sense of integrity and wisdom, displayed by his lifelong commitment to his wife and family. He was likable, genuine, and humorous – a real character. His easy-going personality embraced everyone who knew him. He was a world traveler, both professionally and personally. He was an avid reader of westerns. Inquisitive in nature, Pete spent many hours searching through genealogy records. Although a mediocre fishermen, he loved to be on the lake with his son, Rudy, who was also his best friend. Pete was the epitome of what a man is supposed to be, committed to family values and always doing what was right. He was wise and always had a hand out to make you better than you could ever imagine yourself being. A lifelong learner, he never stopped living life. He loved to debate any political position and was always happy to give his opinion! Son, father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, friend – Pete was so much more and is loved beyond words. Phillip John Faulkner is preceded in death by his parents Arthur & Marie Faulkner, and siblings Richard "Dick" Faulkner and Mary Ann Malak. Phillip John Faulkner is survived by his wife Mary Sue Faulkner, his son Rudy John (Debbie) Faulkner of St. Charles, MO, and his daughters Lisa Ann Gilbert of Edmond, OK, Jodi Elaine (Martin) Rivas of St. Peters, MO, Kristi Jean (Stan) Prough of Tulsa, OK, Janet Marie (Genny) Faulkner of Houston, TX, and his siblings Arthur Neil "Bud" Faulkner of San Mateo, CA, James Patrick "Jim" Faulkner of Punta Gorda, FL, Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Feshbach of Belleair Bluffs, FL, and Susan "Susie" Hjort of Libby, MN, and his grandchildren Christina Ness, Lara Faulkner, Patrick Prough, Sarah Ault, Victoria Cook, Parker Prough, Melissa Gilbert, Phillip Faulkner Jr., Emily Faulkner, Gonzalo Rivas-Faulkner, Harrison Prough, Thomas Prough, Sophia Prough, Brighton Yung-Faulkner, Amelia Yung-Faulkner, and great grandchildren Wyatt Craig, Aidan Ault, Caleb Ness, Zeulen Ault and Isaac Ness.
