AUBURN-Erma C. Beard, 87, died Sunday at 11:45 p.m. in Betz Nursing Home, Auburn.
She formerly lived on County Road 38; Auburn and was a former employee of the DeKalb County auditor’s office.
She was born July 1, 1907 in Jackson Township to the late Albert V. and Bertha (Lee) Smith.
She married Harry L. Beard on July 1, 1934, in Auburn, and he died in 1976.
Surviving are one son, Stewart of Garrett; and one niece, Beverly Cook of Fort Wayne.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
