Iris Norrine Erwin Harris, 86, joined her husband in the presence of her Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014 at her home in Watson, LA.
She was a graduate of Live Oak High School and a member of Live Oak United Methodist Church.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be at Live Oak United Methodist Church, Watson, on Monday, July 21, from 10 a.m. until service at 12 p.m., officiated by Rev. Mark Crosby. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survived by her sons, Craig and wife, Marie Harris, of Watson, and Wiley and wife, Karen Harris of Whittier, NC; daughter, Ginger and husband, David Heuvel, of Watson; 9 grandchildren, Aaron Heuvel and wife, Julie, Zachary Heuvel, Marla Harris Thomasson and husband, T.J., Aime Harris, Michelle Holler, Matt and Kyle Boudreau, Tilden Harris, and Brandi Harris Adams and husband, Steven; and 12 great-grandchildren, Trace and Carsyn Harris, Julia Adams, Mykayla and Colt Thomasson, Brianna, Dylan, Ryan, Aidan, and Landon Holler, Olivia and Sebastian Boudreau.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Lafayette Charles "L.C." Harris; parents, Wiley Foster Erwin and Alice Rebecca Underwood Erwin; siblings, Rebecca "Aunt Beck" and husband, Milton Webb, Alice Mae "Baby" and husband, Reggie Braddock, Julia "Aunt JuJu" and husband, Harry Rasberry, Edna "Aunt Ed" and husband, Claude Ray Curry, and Elma "Aunt Patty" and husband, Millard Miley; and granddaughter-in-law, Stacy Kemp Harris. Pallbearers will be Zach and Aaron Heuvel, Trace Harris, James Corkern, Reggie Braddock, Jr. and Walt "Duck" Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Tilden "Sonny" Curry and Hal Rasberry.
