Kayla was raised in Lee, NH graduating from Oyster River High School and the University of New Hampshire graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Social Work and Justice Studies. She moved to Deland, receiving her Masters Degree in Social Work from UCF. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, her father, two sisters, maternal grandparents and her paternal grandmother.
