Obituary of JaNaya MaKayia Thompson

Little Miss Ja-Naya MaKayia Thompson was the five year old daughter of Jarmal Thompson and LaTisha Boykin.

She was a vibrant little girl who enjoyed playing with her favorite characters, Sponge Bob and Hello Kitty. She was a graduate of Isiah Fredericks Headstart and was known for her infectious smile.

She leaves to cherish her most precious memory, her parents; grandparents, Joe Thompson, Sandra Thompson, Robert Cross, Theresa Boykin; Great-Grandparents, Betty Chambers, Patricia Hinton, Ralph (Barbara) Culberson and one great-great grandmother, Annie Bell Howard.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Verlean Culberson.

Visitation: 9am - 11am, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1816 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Gulfport. Funeral Services: 11am. Interment: Pine Ridge Gardens.

Note: This precious girl was a victim of a horrible crime. The culprit was sentenced to Death on January 26, 2017, a sentence that he deserved for taking the life of this child. She never got to grow up and enjoy her life and enjoy her family and loved ones, but she forever lives with the angels in Heaven. Rest in peace.
