Mr. George "Bobby" Blankenship, 73, passed away, Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, GA, following a short illness.
Mr. Blankenship was born Sept. 8, 1940 in Tift County, GA to the late Thomas Blankenship and Nancy Earleen Akridge Blankenship. He retired from the City of Homerville Police Department, and was a security guard at B-Way. He attended the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
