Ina M. Walker, 81, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Buffalo Creek Assisted Living in Waxahachie. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 19, with funeral services following at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor Sonny Conaster officiating. Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery.

Ina was born in Oklahoma to the late Chester and Jessie (Helcel) Wheeler. Ina graduated from Asher High School in 1950 and in 1991, she graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Science. She was an Administrative Assistant for Red Oak High School for many years. She was a member of the Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma. She loved to do genealogy and also, worked as a photographer for the Waxahachie Daily Light. Ina and her husband, Charles, loved riding and taking trips on their Indian motorcycle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Walker.

Survivors include sons, Thomas Walker and wife, Teresa, and Scott Walker and wife, Pam, all of Waxahachie, and Sam Walker and wife, Beverly, of Lumberton; grandchildren: Jennifer Velasquez and husband, Jesse, Angela Allen and husband, Mark, Tiki Smith and husband, Todd, Brian Walker and wife, Erica, Staci Weir and husband, Brent, Nathan Walker, and Laura Beth Trevino and husband, Josh; great-grandchildren: Caroline Velasquez, Laci Velasquez, Dillon Velasquez, Skylar Allen, Avery Allen, McKenna Sissell, Abby Smith, Ty Weir, Taylor Weir, Josiah Trevino and Gideon Trevino.
