He grew up in College Park, FL, graduated from Edgewater High, was an Eagle Scout, was a U.S. Navy veteran and had a career as a Master Electrician. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Louise; son, David (Sherri); daughter, Nancy (Lin); grandchildren, Davey, Daniel, Ashley, Sophie & Jeremy. Funeral services will be held July 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist church of Apopka. Loomis Funeral Home in Apopka is serving the famiy. Published in the Orlando Sentinel on July 18, 2014
