Mr. Louie E. Puckett, 87, of Magee died Thursday, July 21, 1988 at Magee General Hospital. Mr. Puckett was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee and was retired custodian of Magee Schools.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 1988 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Padgett officiated. Burial was at Magee City Cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Louise Mangum of Jackson, Mrs. Gaynell Shows of Pearl, Mrs. Gladys Purser of Clinton, and Mrs. Patsy Morris of Chrystal Springs; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. E.L. Puckett of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Inez McIntosh of Magee and Mrs. Ida B. Walters of Mendenhall; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
