Edward Frank "Eddie" Riha was born Feb. 14, 1922, the son of Frank and Mary (Franzen) Riha in Fort Atkinson.

At a young age, his family moved to the St. Lucas area and he attended St. Luke's Catholic School.

Eddie Riha then enlisted in the US Navy during World War II, serving from 1942-1946.
He married Agnes Holthaus May 5, 1947 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Festina.
They farmed for a few years near New Hampton and then moved to Ridgeway, where they farmed for 45 years, retiring and moving to Decorah in 1994.
Edward "Eddie" Riha was preceded in death by his parents: Frank & Mary Riha; a grandson; a sister, Angeline Brannon and a brother-in-law, Alex Rausch.
