Betty F. Phillippy, 87 of Lebanon passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Elmcroft of Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Ralph Aaron Phillippy. She was born in Pine Grove, PA on May 1, 1927, daughter of the late Harvey and Alverta Diechert Klinger. She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon and Eastern Star #115 and White Shrine. Betty is survived by her daughters: Diane wife of James Thornton, Pine Grove; Kandice wife of David Gassert, Pine Grove; son: David Phillippy and wife Debra; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Phillippy; sisters: Nancy Klinger, Joan Hall and brother James Klinger. An Eastern Star Service will begin at 9:45 am and a visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment in Outwood Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
