CARRIE C. RAMOS
On the night of July 14, 2014 in her home, our mother, Carrie, in the arms of her children drew her last breath and was handed back into the arms of our Lord.

Carrie was born in Corona, CA on April 21, 1929 to the late Antonio Chavez and Manuela Medina Chavez. She was married for 50 years to the late Arturo R. Ramos, who as children grew up across the creek from one another.

She leaves behind her children: Nellie, Patsy, Tina & Mark (Vanessa) Ramos. Her son, Arthur was already waiting for her arrival. Carrie along with her siblings brother, Rito Chavez of Tucson, AZ, Frances Acosta of San Bernardino, and the late Victor Chavez, were raised in East Highland, CA.

She attended Arroyo Verde and Cram School. During the Great Depression, she left school (7th grade), to harvest the grapes in Cucamonga. Later in life, she worked in the citrus industry for 20 years as a grader. Our mother loved gardening, cooking (chile verde), but most of all she loved us dearly, as well as, her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
