JONES COUNTY: On July 16, 2014, God called home his sweet angel, Peggy Malone Fowler. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Friday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Her life will be celebrated at 11:00am, Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Plentitude Baptist Church, 145 Plentitude Church Road in Jones County, where she was a life-long member. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Rev. Tommy Freeman and Mr. Brad Fowler officiating.
Mrs. Fowler was born July 04, 1939, in Jones County and had lived here all her life. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Malone and Lillian Culpepper Malone. She retired from the civil service at Robins Air Force Base and was a member of the Plentitude Baptist Church where she attended the homemaker's club. Mrs. Fowler was a loving, giving, caring person, and a much loved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend. She was always doing for others and could be counted on to be there to support her family and friends and she will be forever missed and remembered by all who knew her. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her loving husband: James Dawson Fowler; brother: Frank Malone; sister: Jean Hopkins; and son-in-law: Wayne Sanders
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Plentitude Baptist Church Building Fund, 924 Howard Roberts Road, Gray, Georgia 31032 or to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or by visiting their website at www.rmhccga.org.
